Unexpected Contentment

Anyone that knows me knows I like to bitch and complain. I’m not going to lie, that is true. Battling depression, you have your good days and your bad days. It’s very easy to see the glass as half empty instead of half full.

Heart-Felt Appreciation

It’s been a while, but one of the first milestones I set for my blog is nearing. As I write this, I have 99 followers to the H-Files.  I get the same feeling as I write my blog that I did when I worked in newspapers. It’s not like work to me. I do it after my 9-5 job.

I do it to be creative.

I do it to meet interesting people.

I do it to interact with people.

I do it as therapy.

I do it because it gives me a sense of doing something for myself.

I do it as a window into my thoughts.

Most of all, I do it because I enjoy it.

With all of that said, whoever becomes my 100th follower, I would like to feature a blog post from that person as a way to say thanks.

I really do appreciate all the follows, like, comments, etc. from everyone. I also enjoy reading your blogs as well.

Thanks so much for your support!
